The Ikota Educational Foundation (IEF), a non-profit with schools in Lagos and Enugu, has helped shape the lives of more than 3,400 students from over 3,000 families in Nigeria. Backed by more than 180 education professionals, the foundation provides an integral formation that goes beyond academics, cultivating character, culture, faith, and responsibility.
Guided by Christian humanism and a personalized approach, IEF emphasizes the family’s central role in education, structuring its programs to strengthen parents as the first educators of their children.
To become an educational, humanistic, and innovative institution that significantly contributes to the development of society, primarily through the integral formation of many families and education professionals.
We are committed to putting our pedagogical knowledge and educational experience at the service of parents, collaborating closely with them to provide their children with an integral (all‑round) formation. This is achieved through personalized attention for each student and family, fostering academic excellence within diversity, and promoting the search for truth and the practice of Christian virtue as the foundation for their personal, family, and social lives.
At IEF, our work is underpinned by a set of guiding values that shape our approach and foster a positive environment:
Interest in each person and their formation, demonstrated through care, respect, and solidarity.
Personal integrity, embracing responsible freedom and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Work well done, characterised by initiative, effort, a spirit of service, and teamwork.
A culture of optimism, trust, and collaboration, fostered through sincerity, loyalty, and humility.
