Our educational approach is summarized in three major tenets, focusing on developing well-rounded individuals capable of responsible freedom:
We aim for the intellectual, technical, cultural, physical, social, and spiritual development of each individual. Activities are designed to cultivate a sense of responsibility within an atmosphere of personal freedom, emphasizing teamwork, a spirit of service, and the value of work well done. Students are taught to act freely and responsibly, contributing to the common good and social progress.
Recognizing each person as a creature of God with inherent human dignity and rights, we provide strong advisory systems. Each student is assigned an advisor who acts as a mentor for their behavior, academic progress, and professional orientation, working in close collaboration with parents. Importantly, corporal punishment is explicitly excluded; disciplinary actions focus on positive stimuli to encourage improvement.
We deeply trust and respect the primordial role of parents as the first educators of their children. All school activities are conceived as being carried out by delegation from parents and in cooperation with them, never substituting their essential educational role. Active parental involvement is a key criterion for student admission.
The Ikota Educational Foundation (IEF) has promoted educational initiatives inspired by a deep concern for character formation, academic excellence, and collaboration with families. Over the years, it has developed three flagship schools that embody its vision and educational philosophy.
Parents, Students and Staff are encouraged to take ownership of their faith and personal decisions, fostering a deep and lasting commitment to Christian values that extends into their future academic, professional, and personal lives.
Each school within IEF has a chaplain, a priest of Opus Dei, who is available to provide spiritual and pastoral care, and administer the Sacraments. The chaplain also offers doctrinal reflections, supports religious education, and leads spiritual recollections throughout the academic year.
A chapel, centrally located on each campus, remains open throughout the school day, offering a quiet space for prayer and reflection
