Ikota Educational Foundation (IEF) is a not-for-profit NGO that runs three schools in Lagos and Enugu States, Nigeria. We serve over 3,000 families and engage 250 education professionals in the formation of about 1,400 students. IEF is promoted by a group of parents and educationists who wished to meet the need for quality education.

Our mission is to provide students with a well-rounded formation—human, intellectual, cultural, spiritual, moral, aesthetic, and physical—within an environment that fosters both personal freedom and responsibility. We are guided by an innovative vision of education rooted in Christian humanism and personalized attention.

IEF's Scholarship Fund is designed to give bright and deserving boys and girls an opportunity to access quality education. The scholarship programs are open to students who demonstrate academic excellence, financial need, and a commitment to personal development.

The Fund is sustained by donations from parents, individuals, and institutions. By contributing to the Scholarship Fund, donors make an immense impact to society by providing educational opportunities to deserving students who might not otherwise have access to quality education.

For more information about scholarship eligibility and application processes, please contact us at info@ikotaeducationalfoundation.org.

IEF is a registered not-for-profit trust in Nigeria. Donations to IEF may be tax-deductible depending on your location and local tax regulations. We recommend consulting with a tax professional or financial advisor to understand the specific tax benefits available in your jurisdiction.

All donations to IEF are used to support our educational initiatives, scholarship programs, and the continued development of our schools. We are committed to transparency and accountability in how we use donor contributions.

IEF has established three schools in Nigeria:

  • Whitesands School - Located in Lekki, Lagos. Founded in 2000, it is an all-boys secondary school and was the first major project of IEF.
  • Hillrange Secondary School - Located in Centenary City, Enugu State. Opened in 2017, it is also an all-boys secondary school.
  • Roseville Secondary School - Located in Centenary City, Enugu State. Established in 2018, it is an all-girls secondary school.

Through the support of individuals and corporate organisations who identify with the educational principles of IEF, the Foundation has been able to set up these three schools, all of which follow the same educational philosophy focused on integral formation, personalized attention, and strong family involvement.
